ParentMail

Effective communication with parents

We use ParentMail to ensure parents are kept up-to-date about school news and events; we use it to send messages, ask permission for trips, process payments, manage Wrap Around Care bookings, and record school dinners taken.

Communications are tailored to your family so you only receive relevant information.

ParentMail is a service used by over 6,000 schools, nurseries and children’s clubs. Paperless communication is instant, better for the environment, and saves the school money!

How to register

All new Hamilton Academy parents are emailed ParentMail registration details when their child starts school. Please activate your account straight away. If you have not received this email, you can request the registration details from the school office at any time.

Iris ParentMail App

We recommend downloading the free Iris ParentMail App as there are a number of benefits:

  • You don’t need to login to pick up messages or attachments when you use the App
  • The App stores all your messages from Hamilton Academy in one place
  • You can enable push notifications so every message triggers an instant alert on your mobile

Managing your account

Once your account has been activated the school is unable to make any changes to your personal information, you must log in to edit this yourself. It is very important to keep your email address and telephone number up-to-date to ensure you keep receiving messages. Please also inform the school office separately to ensure our records are correct.

Our Wrap Around Care application form has guidance on how to book and pay for Breakfast and Activity Clubs via ParentMail.

Need help?

For more information there is a designated ParentMail help page.

If you are having trouble with your account, please contact the school office; we will always try to help resolve the issue. If you are unable to use ParentMail (eg no internet access), it is possible for office staff to send print-outs home with your child upon request.
