Breakfast and After School Clubs
Hamilton’s extended service provision comprises a breakfast club and a crafts and activities club. These are both offered for the flexibility of working parents.
The Hamilton Larks Breakfast Club is run on the Hampden Road site and is open to all children attending Hamilton Academy. The Larks operates Monday to Friday in term time, from 7.45am to 8.45am. Children based at Priory Road will be escorted by a member of the Larks’ staff in time for the beginning of their school day.
The children are encouraged to select, prepare, eat and clear away their own choice of healthy, nutritious breakfast. They then participate in a stimulating educational or social activity aimed at giving them the best possible start to their day at school and put them in the right mind to maximise their learning potential.
Each daily session costs £5.00, and may be booked in advance – bookings are based on a first come first served basis. Full details and bookings forms are available from the office on 01494 437317.
The After School Activity Club meets every day straight after school. It is based in the Priory Road hall from 3.15-5.30pm, except on Fridays when the club finishes at 5.00pm sharp. The club is open to children from all year groups. Children can be walked from Hampden Road to Priory Road at the end of the school day.
The charge is £6.00 per session and payment is due on the day or in advance.
Application forms are available from both school offices. The application covers bookings for either regular attendance or occasional attendance.
